PrePass Safety Alliance Selected as New Allied Committee for the Trucking Industry (ACT 1) Member

PHOENIX, January 3, 2019– HELP Inc., the non-profit provider of PrePass other safety services, announced it has been chosen to join the Allied Committee for the Trucking Industry, also known as ACT 1.

“It is an honor for HELP Inc. to be selected to join this group of elite industry suppliers,” said Karen Rasmussen, CEO of HELP Inc. “ACT 1’s mission of building a stronger environment for trucking fits perfect with that of HELP and PrePass in creating a safer and more efficient trucking industry.”

The induction into ACT 1 comes as HELP Inc. recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and PrePass achieved the milestone of having the largest enrollment in the history of the program – more than 600,000 trucks. Since PrePass began, it has grown to include weigh station bypass, electronic toll payment services, data visualization software and mobile device applications.

“Our selection into ACT 1, caps off a period of phenomenal growth for HELP Inc., PrePass and the entire trucking industry” said Rasmussen. “By working together with the other companies that make up ACT 1, we can help make sure the trucking industry has a bright and prosperous future.”

ACT 1 gives transportation leaders the opportunity to exchange ideas, forge new relationships and build a stronger, more successful industry through networking and social events at the top national industry meetings. ACT 1 also sponsors industry awards that call attention to outstanding performance in safety, finance and operations.

“We are delighted to have HELP Inc. join ACT 1 and our other elite suppliers who together work to support the trucking industry,” said Amy Boerger, President of ACT 1 and Vice President of Sales at Cummins.
