Ashley Simmons

Ashley Simmons is a strategic public affairs leader with a proven record of helping organizations shape policy, elevate visibility, and accelerate the deployment of transportation technologies that improve how people and goods move.

Ashley is Vice President of Policy & External Affairs at PrePass Safety Alliance, overseeing federal and state government affairs, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement. At the intersection of digital transformation, national security, and mobility innovation, she has led high-impact campaigns, built coalitions to educate policymakers, and advised senior leaders—from government agencies to Fortune 500 executives—on framing policy into compelling narratives that drive results.

Previously, Ashley was Deputy Director of the Coalition for Reimagined Mobility at the SAFE Foundation, where she led policy research, public affairs, and coalition-building for a global, multi-sector initiative. She has also held senior leadership roles at the Telecommunications Industry Association and the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITSA), and founded REVVIT Public Relations, a boutique consultancy serving clients across transportation, technology, and telecommunications.

A trusted spokesperson and convener, Ashley has briefed lawmakers and federal agencies, moderated national policy forums, and guided organizations through rebrands and advocacy campaigns. She serves on the board of Partners for Automated Vehicle Education (PAVE) and holds an M.A. in Media and Public Affairs from George Washington University and a B.A. in Public Communications & Political Science from SUNY Buffalo.
